My Short Biography

RoundWood Designs is dedicated to the art of woodturning. We make one-of-a kind bowls, platters, vases, bottle stoppers, and other works of art from local and exotic wood. We also make toys, including magic wands and spinning tops. 

RoundWood Designs' founder, Frank Martin, began turning wood as a hobby in 2001. He began sharing his creations with family and friends and was soon petitioned to make his unique pieces for gifts, charity auctions, and tradeshows. He's been fulfilling orders ever since.

Frank is an active member of the American Assocation of Woodturners and its Baltimore chapter, theBaltimore Area Turners.
